Session 23 - Quest of Vota Turris

--- *August 20th, 2025* ## ATTENDEES Kaze (DM) Saz (Valcis) Seb (El Triot) Matt (Shears) Lukas (Clyde) # SUMMARY We're introduced to [[Captain Clicker]] and we agree to do small tasks around the ship in return for being taken to [[Kindra|the capital]], such as Clyde being tasked with mopping the deck, though he quickly shoves the task onto one of the crewmates in exchange for coin. Shears goes up in the crow's nest to keep an eye out for trouble, and El Triot helps Val prepare their quarters, though El Triot does most of the work. A few days after we set off, Val spots bodies in the water and begins hauling them up and dissecting them to investigate, discovering bruises on their necks. Using Detect Magic, he feels something in the water and chooses to use his Floating Disk spell to go down and taste it, for some god forsaken reason. A pale hand breaches the water, grabbing Val around the neck, initiating combat. Shears jumps down and starts to slice up the army of ghouls emerging from the water, as Val continues to choke. Clyde.. Clyde tries his best... Seeing Val get ambushed, El Triot goes ballistic. Lifting his eyepatch to brandish his holy symbol, he reveals his flaming eye and summons an ancient tomb. A plethora of wisps fly out from the tomb, going to each undead, incinerating them on the spot with the flames of sacred fire.
