Session 22 - Quest of Vota Turris

--- *May 28th, 2025* ## ATTENDEES Kaze (DM) Saz (Valcis) Seb (El Triot) Matt (Shears) Lukas (Clyde) # SUMMARY [[Isele]] leaves and Val is confused about what to do when you're married, so Shears and El Triot tell him it’s about companionship and being in each other’s company. This leads to Val kidnapping [[Jagun]] and running off to tinker with his tools while [[Jagun]] is around. Shears heads to [[Map of Indawo|the market]] to ask questions before everything closes for the night, as he wishes to claim a new vessel, a new frame if you will. After he asks questions about getting a new frame, he wants to learn more about Clyde and El Triot. Clyde expresses his confidence in his thievery and claims he enjoys stealing from the rich. El Triot explains that he used to be a sailor, or really a pirate, before they shipwrecked and he was thrown into a mast and blacked out. When he woke up, he was in the basement of a church, where he then lived and rose to the rank of high-cleric. Before going to bed for the night, El Triot sits down to do some woodworking and Clyde sneaks off and steals some gems from [[Gimmy Koin]] as well as a seemingly bottomless bag of gold. The next morning, the group gather before [[Wamakhowa †|Wamakhowa]] before they leave, as El Triot has sensed it was his time to move on. [[Wamakhowa †|Wamakhowa]] explains to us that [[Isele]] told him about a coming war between the gods. Now that Val is married to [[Jagun]], the next [[Ascended Jagun|guardian]], and chosen as one of [[Isele]]'s messengers, [[Wamakhowa †|Wamakhowa]] and [[Isele]] has formed an alliance, and [[Isele]] wishes to aid Val on his travels when he can. He hopes that when the time comes, we'll all aid them as well. El Triot asks for his final blessing, before he guides [[Wamakhowa †|Wamakhowa]] to the next world. [[Wamakhowa †|Wamakhowa]] grants us this blessing, connecting us so we'll always know if one of us is lost or in danger. After the ritual is done, he ascends [[Jagun]] to his new status as [[Ascended Jagun|Guardian of Indawo]]. Grateful for his assistance, [[Jagun]] waves his hand and opens a straight path for them, leading out of [[Indawo]] and out of the forest. Once they head out, they arrive at the river where El Triot and Val met. They spot the [[River Pirates]], who happen to know El Triot and remember meeting Val in the area. [[Dolthan Kilwunax|Dolthan]] shortly mentioned a short halfling with a mask being with them for about a week. Val frantically runs around hugging everyone after El Triot clears the air. [[River Pirates|The pirates]] offer them to ride the boat to get closer to the [[Kindra|capital]].
