Session 14 - Quest of Vota Turris

--- *July 17th, 2024* ## ATTENDEES Kaze (DM) Saz (Valcis) Seb (Klei) # SUMMARY We go down the elevator to [[F5]] where Val discovers a secret door that leads to another elevator taking us to [[F0]], a room filled with treasure, guarded by [[Treasure Hoard|Gholdengo]]. We defeat the guardian and Val finds [[Horn of Storms|a strange magical horn that looks like a tornado]]. After a long nap, we head back down to [[F5|F5]] where we enter [[Core of the Ironheart|the core room]] and are surprised by the frozen mist that shoots out in our faces. On [[Core of the Ironheart|the core]] there’s [[Guardian of the Core †|a massive salamander]] that turns out to be a vessel for the deity [[Isig|Isig, the Forbidding]]. [[Isig|Isig]] speaks to us in our minds, telling us we’re not allowed there. Val for bearing the mark of his rival [[Isele]] and Klei for his mask supposedly being connected to some god that [[Isig|Isig]] thought gone. The [[Guardian of the Core †|vessel]] of [[Isig|Isig]] attacks us and after we beat it to an absolute pulp and Klei pulverises its brain, [[Core of the Ironheart|the core]] starts to heat back up. We head back up, grab the [[Map Maker|mapmaker]] and go back to [[The Ironheart|the Ironheart]] where we are rewarded and have a feast, though Val heads to the room the dwarves have prepared for us while Klei stays for the party.
